Home
Elizabeth was discharged Friday afternoon after she was able to keep her sats up during her nap. Still not sure exactly what was wrong-other than she has bad lungs. Elizabeth and I were both happy to sleep at home and not have people waking us up all night to take temps and blood pressures. Seriously- does she really need to be weighed at 3am? Well it is over now and we are enjoying a beautiful fall day.
Elizabeth was born weighing just 1 pound and 3 ounces. She spent 109 days in the NICU; coming home one week before her due date. She spent a month a a ventilator, then moved toCPAP, and was on oxygen for 5 months. She had a PDA ligation, Grade 1 IVH, ROP laser surgery, multiple blood transfusions, and a sepsis infection.
