This is the story of Elizabeth,a micro preemie, born at 23 weeks and 3 days gestation and her 6 year old big sister Ava. Born on April 15, 2007, Elizabeth was 1 pound 3 ounces and 10 inches at birth.

Elizabeth's Story
Elizabeth was born weighing just 1 pound and 3 ounces. She spent 109 days in the NICU; coming home one week before her due date. She spent a month a a ventilator, then moved to CPAP, and was on oxygen for 5 months. She had a PDA ligation, Grade 1 IVH, ROP laser surgery, multiple blood transfusions, and a sepsis infection.

The laugh at the beginning just makes the video. She is such a miracle.
We are so sad not to see you this weekend! I hope Elizabeth is feeling better! I think we're going to need to make Eli watch this video for inspiration!
Thanks for the smiles and sharing the blessing of both of your girls with us when we can't see them in person. Hang in there--she'll really be moving in hyper speed soon!
