One of our favorite fall family traditions is going to our local apple orchard. We pick an obscene amount of apples, buy some cider, and the best part is the doughnuts! I could go on about the doughnuts but I will just say that they are the best in the world. We had fun this year and Elizabeth loved her first wagon ride. Now all we have to do is figure out what we can do with a 1/2 bushel of apples!

I make apple butter with my apples. I think that I will make applesauce this year too. Lots of fun, but time consuming.
What orchard did you go to...we like doghnuts too.
