We had a great weekend. We celebrated Elizabeth's baptism re-newel on Sunday. Since Elizabeth was baptized moments after her birth we wanted to have a special service at church on Sunday to celebrate her baptism. It was a beautiful day, the service was held outside and the weather was perfect! All of Matt's family was there as well as my parents. Matt's brother John and his wife Janessa were there to be God parents. It was so fun to see them, they live far away in Salt Lake City so their visit was extra special.
We had lunch at home and Elizabeth had her first official piece of cake. I was reminded that for Ava's first birthday I made a super healthy carrot cake, not so for Elizabeth! Chocolate cake has more calories, lucky girl! Elizabeth loved it!!! Ava insisted that we all sing Happy Birthday to Elizabeth because she was eating "birthday cake".
