This is the story of Elizabeth,a micro preemie, born at 23 weeks and 3 days gestation and her 6 year old big sister Ava. Born on April 15, 2007, Elizabeth was 1 pound 3 ounces and 10 inches at birth.

Elizabeth's Story
Elizabeth was born weighing just 1 pound and 3 ounces. She spent 109 days in the NICU; coming home one week before her due date. She spent a month a a ventilator, then moved to CPAP, and was on oxygen for 5 months. She had a PDA ligation, Grade 1 IVH, ROP laser surgery, multiple blood transfusions, and a sepsis infection.
